About Us
In 1993 Dr. Don and Mona Brawley were given a vision and a mission to move their family from New York to Atlanta to plant what is now known as Canaan Land Church International. Established in July of 1994, Canaan Land began in the Brawley’s den in Lithonia. After moving to several locations within Metro Atlanta, the church held its first service in its very own building located in Lithonia in December of 2001. Soon Canaan Land’s growth made it impossible to be housed in that location. As of 2007, the church has made Snellville its home as it builds a culturally relevant, family and community friendly, Christian Cultural Center.Canaan Land is spreading the Gospel both locally and internationally with local out reaches and community events as well as missionary teams abroad to spread the word in London, England and several parts of Africa to include planting 4 sister churches in Ghana, Africa.
Here at Canaan Land, we have become a church intentional in our pursuit of church health and life transformation. Canaan Land triumphantly recognizes God’s sovereignty in our conception, history, and future vision attainment. With a unified church family, healthy life groups, and committed servant leaders, our future shines brighter with each coming day!
